Material test Framing smaller than preview

I have a new Sculpfun iCube pro 5w laser, using the latest Lightburn software 1.7.08, with Windows 10. I want to engrave 5 ounce leather that hasn’t been dyed or wetted first and want to do a material test first. I set the parameters for mm/m. The setting for the material test are:
Speed:
10 squares
Y axis
100 by 10000
4 mm height

Power:
5 squares
X axis
10% by 50%
8 mm length

I’ve put in the device settings work area at 125x125mm.

Preview shows exactly what I want. With the setting for line ‘fill’.

But when I press the framing button, it only shows about x:45 mm and y: 15mm.
I tried to burn the test to see if it would be different, it burned it so small I could barely read any of it. (wish I could show pictures)

I have tried everything I can. From restarting computer, Lightburn, my laser, the program. I’ve looked at numerous tutorials on the same thing, but nothing is changing the outcome. My Sculpfun laser is basicall brand new. I’ve only done a few practrise runs on the little birch boards.

The reason why I’m going with the width of 5 square and only 50% power, is because anything higher is just burning the leather to ash.

I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

If you move it using the arrow buttons in move window, does do the correct distances? Or if you engrave a test shape like a 50x50mm square?
