Material test on black stainless help

First post, huzzah!

I am looking to do a color material test on black oxide coated/nitrided stainless steel but want to clean off each square before doing the color test. I could do a big cleaning pass across the whole item but that leaves much to be desired for time and also quality.

Is there a way to program in a cleaning pass into a material test?

In the cuts/layers setting in material test you can add a sub layer.

I’ve never tried this, but I think I follow what you want to do…
