Material Test Presets not working anymore

Hi
currently on Mac Version 1.7.03 and wanted to use some old Material Tests.
The presets are neatly there - but when recalling one of them - nothing happens - values stay as default.
I didnt extra import them from an old version - I guess they where just used from the previous version in the preferences folder.
How to get it back working from a version previous “Bundle” stuff ?
Cheers

Select Import Bundle select the file then a window opens with a lot of options.

Select Material Test Presets.

yeah I tried with Bundles already - imports it also fine - but still doesnt work.
All Presets are there - but by selcting one - no settings get changed.
A Bug ? A Feature ?
Would love to have a workaround

Have you tried to re-enter the test values manually to see if the materials test will function correctly then?

Yeah if I reenter or add a new Preset - that works fine. But the thing is I would need the old stored values

May I ask if you may post your Material presets from the bundle?

was hoping that someone from Lightburn would know a workaround - therefore Ill scrap the old stuff and start new
Its quicker than guess and try and tedious finding maybe a workaround
But thanks for all your help and time
Cheers

Inside your Lightburn budle .lbzip you have a material test presets .lbmt.

Extract (UnZip) the file and try

If that does not work you can edit the file and do it manually:

There was a bug with this when we moved to the new framework (used in 1.7), but that was fixed relatively early, I think for 1.7.01 or .02. Can you email support @lightburnsoftware.com one of your bundle files, and include a link to this thread?

now we are talking  Knew it was something while moving to the Bundle Stuff
@ FerAS: unzipping is not working - manually editing - then its esier to make them new again in LB - although my file shows more weired numbers than yours
@ OZ: I sent support a mail
Thanks all
Martin

Do you have any older versions of this file? The presets in this file are missing values, so it looks like it was loaded with a version that “dropped” some of the numbers, and then it was resaved, so those numbers are now gone.

Version that “dropps” numbers ? I should never change a running system - until there are “Hotkeys for Macros” (that I would need so bad)
No unforntunately I have nothing else on hand - might bei somewhere on a Backupserver.
Anyway thanks for your help - as long as my Material Library is intact - and that supposedly “suvived” the upgrad to the new framework of V 1.7.xx
If it would have been an easy workaround to restore the Material Test - fine - but so I just forget it for now - not a big deal (like I said Material Library would be more painfull as its quite extensive sofar.)
Everyone thanks a lot for your help an efforts.
Till the next time
Cheers Martin

We switched to a newer version of the framework that LightBurn runs on. The newer version changed some of the functions used when parsing JSON files (which is how LightBurn material test data is stored). They removed support for “float” numbers and now only support “double” numbers. We were using “float” and there were no warnings produced that the support had been removed, so we didn’t notice right away.

The 1.7 version had this bug, and I believe it was fixed by 1.7.01 or .02.
