I haven’t run the material test in version 1.7 yet. I get a black square in the preview when the boarder is enabled. Is this a possible bug?
Only way I’ve been able to fix it is delete the first layer in the border settings. Restarting lightburn resets the material test settings.
You may need to adjust the settings for that Material Test Border Layer. I suspect it is currently set to Fill.
This is how it is on mine. If I delete the fill (layer 2) it stays the same. If I delete the line (layer 1) it fixes it. When I restart LB it reverts back.
You are showing a sub-layer added to that Red layer, and I assume you set that as ‘Make Default’ for that layer. I would remove the sub-layer and set Red to Line, then make that the default. Please let us know how that goes. 
Yea I opened the red layer and clicked reset to default. I don’t ever save the settings. Thanks for the help.
