I am brand new to laser engraving. Just set up the laser and am using the trial of Lightburn, which I plan on purchasing, if I can ever get it to connect. I keep getting the above message. I have tried different COM ports, and all I ever get is G0 or you are not in GRBL mode (which I am). I have looked at other people’s posts regarding this issue and I cannot seem to connect. any help is appreciated.
Okay…not sure exactly what I did, but it is now connected. Thanks…Now I just have to figure how to adjust the z axis… I’ll see if I can find a tutorial.
