I recently bought a Genmitsu 4030S CNC machine. As a user of Lightburn I thought I would be more comfortable with that platform for using it to operate the CNC. I downloader the trial version and it worked great. Rather than wait for my 30 days to try it, I knew right away it was going to be my go to. I bought the Core version and saw that I could try the Pro version for a bit to see if I should upgrade to that. As soon as I upgraded everything my machine won’t do anything.. PORT failed to open. I’ve opend and closed the program, turned the CNC machine on and off and nothing. I even tried deleting the machine and starting from scratch. Guess I should have kept using the free trial. now I have nothing.
Load a .lbprefs file dated from before you did the new install.
I’m just not sure what changed from the trial to the paid. I will take a look at this though.

I bought Lightbirn Jan 2022 and was in on the MillMage Beta Testing. and I too am still learning. That is the fun of this stuff
