anyway the connection of the relay is simple take 5V and GND from the pins in the red circle and the signal to the relay from the pin in the green circle. In LB you have to use M8 to activate air assist, but most important of all you have to download and flash latest firmware for this MB from MKS github.
This uses an ESP32 chip not an 8 but Atmel. So it doesn’t use the CH34x serial chip, it most likely uses a silicon labs chip, this is built in the module not in the board. USB to serial converter chips installed on most of the ESP32 boards produced by Espressif together with links to the drivers:
If we’re going from the Topic title this looks to be the standard DLC so should still be Atmega328p. ESP32 was introduced for DLC32. Hopefully the description was correct.
I see what you are saying I was looking at the photo which does show the DLC32. You are right
We can just blame @killrob.
i beg pardon of you all
and in this case ariassist is not usable, cause was implemented only in DLC32
Damn yeah ive only got the DLC board not the 32. I got this board as a temp board while i waited for another board to arrive.
I might look at getting the DLC32 if i get sick of turning on air assist manually.
With that thought is there any other boards you guys could recommend? I found there is very little documentation with these boards and doesnt appear that there is a heap of people using them or mucking around with them
