Hello, I would like to know if it was possible to have a more detailed working scale in x and y.
I’m talking about the scale on the left and at the bottom because when you have to adjust it’s a hassle
Hello, I would like to know if it was possible to have a more detailed working scale in x and y.
Edit, Settings, Display tab.
Show full screen line cursor switch.
I found this helps a lot when I want to know where my drawing is positioned.
For a more exact position indication, look at the very bottom left where it shows X & Y positions for the cursor. Upper right X & Y boxes show your part position, but the display value is impacted by those little circles at the middle top.
Note that those reference the gridlines on the workspace area, so that when you zoom far out, as shown in your first screenshot, the connection isn’t obvious:
When you zoom in, so the workspace fills more of the screen, not only do you get more numeric values, but the (very faint) minor grid also appear:
Adjusting by precise increments or to precise coordinates is better done with the Numeric Edits
toolbar or the Grid Snap
settings, rather than trying to eyeball the position against the scales.
