More problems with Lightburn and ligatures, this happens with many fonts, and doesn´t correct changing space, font size or path size.
Seems that Lightburn definitly needs to rethink use of fonts.
I am able to replicate it but only with OpenSanse, which I got from the Google Fonts website.
Also only lower case, if all is Upper case it does not have the problem
Can you tell us any other font that you are experiencing the same and their source to download please?
This happens to more than 1 third of the fonts i have installed.
For example:

- Hiragino Sans
- IBM Plex Sans
- ITC Avant Garde Gothic
- ITC Clearface Std
- ITC Officina Serif Std
- Josefin Sans (Google Font)
- Just Another Hand
- Lato (Google Font)
- League Gothic
- Libre Baskerville (Google Font)
- Literata (Google Font)
- Lora(Google Font)
and the list goes on an on.
I´m a professional designer and use lot of professional fonts.

I went through most of mine - although they are system fonts and not customs, and seem ok.
So I am now wondering what makes those different.
- Merriweather ( Google Fonts )
- Millard
- Montserrat ( Google Fonts )
- Mulish ( Google Fonts )
- Museo Sans
- Noto Sans ( Google Fonts )
- Roboto ( sans and condensed, Google Fonts )
OMG most of them are the most popular fonts on Google.
Please, fix problems with font on the software, it´s amazing on almost all aspects, but the font managment is HORRIBLE, i created several issues about it. 99% of the time i´m dealing with fonts, and it´s a pain, i have to go to Illustrator back and forward to create something.

support@lightbursoftware.com is the best place. Bug reports get logged and assigned, and if you can include files that demonstrate the issue that helps as well.
