I am looking at buying a different laptop to use with my laser, and wanted to know how I can get the software and access to use Lightburn to the newer laptop.
my understanding is that you can load your LightBurn license on upto 3 machines and the license manager page lets you free up a license/machine combo to move your license to a different computer. See the License Portal page linked at the top of this page.
Remember to File → Export Prefs on the old laptop to save your setup to a USB stick, then File → Import Prefs from that USB stick on the new laptop.
That’ll save you at least a day of wondering why the laser behaves so differently with the new laptop …
