I’m needing to move a group of nodes a specific distance. I have done some searching through the forum and found the topic was covered early last year. Below is a screenshot of the conversation. My question, is there a simpler resolve? If we had the ability to use something like the XPos and YPos for a group of nodes, that would be so beneficial. Especially when using the mathematical equations feature! eg. XPos [ 352.983+0.5] mm
The workaround described by Oz is fairly elegant if you’re trying to target a specific position.
Alternatively, you could select the nodes you want to move and use the arrow keys to move a specific distance. Works well if the total distance is a multiple of a regular interval. You can customize the step size in Settings to make this even easier.
