I am trying to download the software for my new M4 but its impossible. The online sites don’t work and the usb files bear no resemblance to anything listed in the manual?
Does light burn support this laser and can i use LB to control the laser?
Download the Trial Lightburn (fully featured with 30 day limit) and hook it up to see if it does. It will cost you nothing if your laser came with a USB cable.
If you do not have the fiber laser yet, search the forum for this to see what brand does work with Lightburn. You will also find the issues with various brands posted.
Fiber lasers are way different than diode and CO2 machines. Expect to be learning a lot of things about operating it.
I see this machine listed for $1200 on Amazon and $500 on AliExpress, both with free shipping. I am betting on which one you choose. Just find out which one has a solid return policy. And know that it has a 2w IR and 5w blue diode and will not perform like those 30w-50w machines you see in the videos.
There is only one Official Download Site:
Apparently for basic functions:

A more general search produces discussions on other models that may be useful:
Thanks,
I will try LB
It is not immediately clear whether Mr. Carve comes with EZCAD or BSLcad.
Either way, you’ll need to install drivers. If it’s using an EZCAD2 controller, you’ll find the drivers in the last step of the LightBurn installer: Galvo Driver Installation - LightBurn Documentation
If the laser came with BSLapp (Sealaser), the drivers should be on the USB stick. - Installing this app should get the drivers installed.
The important part when adding a galvo to LightBurn is to import the settings file from the USB:
