I am doing a burn with multiple image files layered over top of each other. Currently if I import two image files, they go into the same layer and get the same settings. This is working fine for what I am currently doing, but I would like to be able to control the image file burn settings independently. Is this currently possible?

Yes, select one of the images and choose a different layer color from the color palette at the bottom of the LightBurn screen. You can then adjust the settings for this image independently.
