I need 9 laser passes to cut through 3mm plywood, but the laser processes each part individually 9 times. I would like the entire shape to be cut in one go, repeating the process 9 times. What setting is required for this, please?
If I understand correctly, instead of making 9 passes in each area, you want all areas to get one pass, then a second pass, and so forth. I do not think this can be done unless you make 1 layer for each pass.
Can you tell us why you need this sequence?
You have to use Sub-Layers.
If I have to cut every little part of the project 9 times, I risk getting burned
I would say that it’s either the wrong materials or the wrong machine you’re using for the job.
My laser head is a 9 W diode, sometimes I use plywood, sometimes 3 mm acrylic sheet, but with 9 sublayers it works perfectly
The easiest way to help is if you upload your lbrn2 project file for someone to examine. Without knowing how your project is set up I cannot advise.
Does this mean @parsec gave you the solution you needed?
