Hello
My company’s purchases a Monport 30W Fiber Laser to engrave our tools.
Ive been rasked with swtting it up and I’m stuck.
I bypassed the EZCad2 and bought Lightburn. The issue Im having is that I cannot get the laser to fire. I can do everything except engrave.
Any and all guidance will be much appreciated.

A link to your machine doesn’t hurt…
Engraving is really the only use for this size fiber … what else can you do?
What does work and what doesn’t?
Are you sure you’re in focus?
What size lens do you have…?
The shorter the more critical focus is… If my 100mm is off just a little bit, it won’t look like it’s lasing.
Got it figured out.
Great, however, for someone with the same problem, hunting for an answer … think they would find a solution here?
