I’ve been using a diode with no issues but just bought a CO2 and having framing issues as well as engraving issues. It is not framing my image where I have it set. It will either go to far back in the machine or it will frame right at home. Not framing where I have to the image. If I move the laser using the controls and just start the job it engraves upside down and backwards.
Most K40 conversion boards or K40s that ship with GRBL based software are based on assumption of Machine Origin at bottom-left. Try changing that in Edit->Device Settings and test if framing and burn orientation is correct.
