my omtech polar lite 55w is stuck on working with a green ring, ive tried opening and closing the lid, turning power off, disconnecting the usb etc., restarting Lightburn, and hitting stop. and now I’m having trouble getting my computer to even connect to a device.

A green ring is a bit unusual for this state; it sounds a lot like the Polar is trying to home itself, but not moving. Check inside to make sure no mechanical parts are stuck, then try the following:
Try clearing the current job state from the machine first:
- Turn the Polar off.
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Turn the Polar back on and let it fully initialize/home, etc
- Press and hold the illuminated front button for a few seconds to cancel/reset the current machine state.
- Reconnect USB.
- In LightBurn, check the Laser window and make sure the correct Polar device is selected.
If it still will not connect/shows working, go to Devices and create a new device entry for the Polar. You do not need to delete the existing one — this is just to test whether a fresh device entry connects correctly.
If it still stays stuck on “working,” please post a screenshot of the full LightBurn workspace showing the Laser and Devices window:

Also, confirm whether the machine completes its normal startup movement when powered up.
