Hi! Minutes ago I cut out a few cardboard pieces that turned out fine. Now I want to cut 3mm plywood, which I do almost daily, and the laser won’t cut. It moves around in the patterns I want, but nothing happens, neither cut nor engrave. I am still fairly new at this, I have probably done something I shouldn’t have, but what? And how can I undo it? Any advise would be most appreciated. Hopefully these screen shots can shed some light on my problem. Thanks very much in advance.
By the errors you getting in console i would revise to see if your power adapter is not failed
so in order
a) run the same job at 1% power, does the job finish without errors?
b) Check the lens and optical elements of laser for any dirt or damage
c) recheck all wiring for any damage
d) try engraving again after that and see if anything changed and if you get errors again
If you get alarm 3 again try a different power adapter of the same rating
We don’t know until we know, which is the downside of these things
Plus remember, we are doing remote “help” so, i gave you a list of things to check that i would do if I had the machine with me but I don’t have the complete context and or I don’t have access to what you know.
So troubleshooting is a work of negating variables until you find the thing that IS causing the problem.
I suspect your issue is power by the errors in console. But is hard to tell until you check all things.
