My PC crashed, all my data was saved. My question is if any of you out there would recommend a certain laptop over another?

Pick a well-known brand name. Dell, HP, Acer to name just 3 of them. The rest of the specifications becomes an issue of what you are willing to spend.

Yes, I got a new DELL desktop for under $500.00 and it works fine. Just the xTool D1 doesn’t work as fine as it should.

I’ve got a gripe about something I never considered when I bought a Dell laptop [about $500]:
The number keypad makes the trackpad offset so much that I kept typing a few keys to the side. I should have bought one with NO number keypad!
No problem if you use a mouse! Just something to consider if you use a trackpad.
