My Ruida KT332N will not reconnect to Lightburn after connection to Wecreate Laser

I connected my new WeCreate 20 Watt Laser to Lightburn. It made connection but did not work properly, so I disconnected it and tried to reconnect my Ruida but it will not connect. The Ruida connection was working immediately prior to connecting the WeCreate, (as it has been for the past 3 year). Thie Devise Setting indicates “AUTO”, where it seems to me it read COMM 5 at one time, but I don’t how to change it or even if I should. Can you help me get reconnected?

Hi Bill,

When you reconnected your Ruida, does that mean you moved the USB cable from your WeCreat back to the Ruida? Can you confirm that it’s plugged in to the control port of the Ruida controller, not the USB drive port?

My suggestion is to plug your Ruida into you lan via Ethernet. It always works.

USB is a pain.

Colin. I had the WeCreate plugged into a different USB Port, so I did not have to disconnect my CO2 Laser from its USB Port. When I reconnected, I did it in Device Manager by clicking on Ruida and hitting the OK Button.
