Mylar cutting with 10w diode laser

Hello all, ive a X7 pro with the 10W output laser, i want to try and cut Mylar but seem to be having next to no results, has anyone achieved this and if so what speed/power/passes did you use?

Thanks
Mat

From my readings on the Internet… It seems like the led diode just passes through Mylar. If that’s the case you won’t be able to really cut it.

Many do cut Mylar with co2, it does block ir and can therefore be damaged or cut…

Sounds like it may be next to impossible to actually cut it with a diode laser…

Good luck

managed to cut it ok, took a few trial and error attempts but ive found speed 800 and power 85%, 4 passes but doing one pass at a time and letting it cool for a few seconds
