Need an adjustable head mount or bracket

Does anyone know where I can purchase a bracket with adjustability like this Bescutter? I’ve checked the website and no luck.

Here’s the problem, on setup I hit “atuofocus” and the sensor was off by a mere mm and missed, driving the head into the wood. I was trying to figure out how to lower the bed as it wouldn’t lower (this was on very first power up) and didn’t realize you pressed center key for continuous movement instead of stepped. I powered the machine off to read the manual and on power on it tried to home. This skewed the bracket.

It’s why I’ve had such a hard time aligning the beam. I don’t really want to buy a dremel just to machine enough adjustability in the brackets to level them. I was hoping someone knew where to purchase. If not, looks like I’ll be buying a dremel and machine my brackets as needed.

Thank you

I made a minor edit to the video link so when someone clicks on it, the video will start right at the point he is adjusting the bracket. (I think that’s what you are referring to right: the lens holder / last mirror bracket?)

If so, you can buy these on Cloudray, ebay, ali express, etc. You just need the one that fits your mirror and lens size. If you are using a smaller than 20mm lens, it would also be a good time to upgrade to 20mm.

Are you trying to move it in the Z direction?

I believe he is referring to the ability to adjust the tilt of the lens holder along X (as illustrated in the video).

I first looked he stated a problem with auto-focus, it looked like that was what the video was showing. Guess I was confused. Thanks

Cloudray sells Russ’ adjustable mount, is that what you’re looking for?

Thanks for that, I was sure it would start at that point when I uploaded it, I guess it didn’t.

Yes, the main bracket is skewed a bit counter clockwise. I’ve tried loosening it to see if I could adjust it, I am going to take the whole head apart today if I have the time or sometimes next week and see if I can make it square again.

I’m pretty sure I’ve got a 20 mm lens on it. I was going to upgrade to Russ’s lightweight RDWorks setup later, but maybe I will end up doing it now. Was hoping to just get this thing running and focused.

I’m not really sure what a “C series” machine is. But from what I’ve seen I am not sure that is the right setup for this laser. I also might need it to rotate like the one in the video. Not sure if it’s just the bracket or what yet.
