Hopefully I’m posting in the right spot. When I try to use cylinder correction and hit show valid boundaries, the boundaries are off to the right buy more then 70% so the boundaries are off of my work space and I can not center. omtech 30w galvo 2, My bed is 110mm x 110mm, the artwork is 30mm x 20mm, testing on can 65mm object diameter, mirror distance with added lens is 320mm, I have checked for updates, my EZCad setting and reloaded, checked my setting 8 times still no luck.
So you mean the laser is off in the physical workspace ?
Can you show us what you mean?
You can adjust the rest position (center) in the galvo and basic settings.
It doesn’t look like I responded to you on here I did respond to email but I’m responding on here as well. So with what you said and what I’ve been doing this is where I am currently at. Seems like the cylinder correction is working currently. Unfortunately haven’t been able to test it because now I can’t use framing tool. Well it looks like from the computer end it’s running but it’s not shooting or firing my frame. I did hit start and it did engrave so it is engraving. My focusing red dot is working. But my framing that shows me where to position does not. My assumption is while I was trying to reload the software it didn’t load the framing tool correctly. I have tried again still no luck. I do have the original USB was thinking about trying to run it again off of that instead of what I have saved on my computer. But I think that’s pushing it hoping for something lucky to happen. Do you have any suggestions? Sending pictures of what I have
So I called omtech The technicians were very helpful and got me back to my original settings so my framing and burning is working well. But now I’m back to my original problem when I go to do cylinder correction the framing box the red box it pulls up for viewing is way right. If I put my image in that box it’s outside of my frame and it won’t burn if I put it in the middle and move the red box is still says it’s outside of the perimeter I tried to make it small and do a burn and the cylinder correction did not work. Any help on how to position or move the red framing box for a cylinder correction without it messing it up would be great thank you
Thank you very much but unfortunately I’m not using a rotary I’m trying to use the cylinder correction. If I do it horizontally it thinks the center around 140 My work bed is only 110 if I do it vertically then it’s way high. But thank you for the response
