Need some pointers for Anodized Aluminum Receiver engraving

Hello I have a 60 watt OMTech MOPA Fiber laser with a 200mm lens, and I am engraving on anodized aluminum receivers. I have my fonts and images set but I feel that the results I am getting are not as clean as they could be. I would like to have clean edges around the text and images so that the engraving does not look like it was gouged out. If I paint the aluminum the text looks great, but if I want to leave the receiver “as is” it looks off. Does anyone have any suggestions on what settings to use for engraving on receivers that looks clean? This is my first layer settings:

Here are my second layer (Finishing) pass settings:

Should the settings for Annodized receivers be the same as plain aluminum receivers? I would think they should be because of the anodization process and what it does to the aluminum, but any tips would be helpful.
Thanks in advance!!

Here is an example of the text on a flat aluminum sheet I have been using for testing. It is not anodized so I think that the anodization process has some effect on the blowout look… unless I am looking at it wrong….

So the engraving is done the same settings on each instance… one is just painted and it looks far better than the non painted one. This is not the same Aluminum as the lower receiver, I just dont have many lower receivers to test on… so am hoping it is a settings thing between aluminum sheet and anodized aluminum.

Here is the image of the lower….

The lettering just appears to be more blown out… are my settings off for engraving? I am pretty new and thought I had found the correct settings.

Does anyone have some suggestions on different settings to run on anodized aluminum receivers to they dont look “blown out” or suggestions on making the text look cleaner?
