I have a logo that I need to engrave on a wine glass but the taper of the glass makes the logo engrave with a curve to it. I made a 1"x1" box and curved the top and bottom until they came out straight and now I need to apply the same curve to the logo. I’ve used the “apply text to path” function before, but I’ve never done it with a logo like this.
Is there a way to do that with Lightburn?
Thanks
Hi Stanley,
The warp tools are limited to text at this point in time, but you could make a suggestion to add it to LightBurn using the Feature Suggestions link at the top of this page.
Is there another software you also use for vector editing? I’ve used a few so I might be able to help you do it in something else.
Until yesterday I’ve only ever used Lightburn, but I got a trial of CorelDraw and was able to bend the image and make it work. I will for sure offer it as a suggestion.
CorelDraw is great software but if you’re looking for a free way to do this Inkscape is freely available and extremely capable. It would also be able to do this.
Awesome! I’d much rather have free. Thanks!
