If it’s telling you that you already have a newer version of a Microsoft library installed, you can just click ‘ok’ and keep going. It’s not actually an error, though it looks like one.

cheers for that and yea this is what im getting on one of my p.c but my other pc exactly the same it will install easly i have ni probelm running lasergrbl at the moment but have been told lightburn is way better

Try installing this:

Those libraries are usually handled by Windows Update, but not always.

will do now cheers

thankyou so much for your help im doing the trial now exelent thanks again

sorry for starting this again but now i still get the same error thing and when i press ok nothing happens i think this computer dosent like lightburn so any other ideas would be exelent cheers

Every once in a blue moon we see an issue like this, and it comes down to Windows having botched some install at some point and being in a screwed up state so it can’t figure out how to install its own required libraries. (The crt thing it’s asking for is a Microsoft library, and the installers are theirs, not ours).

You can try installing the 32 bit version instead, which might work better because it uses different library versions that might not have the same issues. If that fails, the best option is reinstalling Windows (and I’m aware of how crap an option that is).

yea wont be a fun thing to do ill see if i can work something out i have some spare parts around i might need to build a desktop just for the laser thanks for your help ill keep trying i did try the 32 bit and still no good ill work something out cheers for your help

Sorry - I wish I had a better answer for you. :-/
