Just connected my new Neje 16MP cam, and facing some error in LB. With google meet the image is fine, but in LB the image is rolling somehow…
Macbook Air M1, Lightburn 2.0, Osx Tahoe
Any help would be great!
Did you calibrate the lens and did the alignment already?
Anyhow, the camera is mounted way too high. Mount it such that it can only see the work area of the laser, not more.
Yes, calibrated, but because of the error, the preview is jumping also…
So there must be some other issue.
The default camera framerate in LightBurn is set low, to minimize CPU load, but the “rolling shutter” of your camera does not seem to play nice.
Try increasing the preview framerate in “Edit > Settings > Camera”.
Are you using the “Recommended” Camera Capture System?
I second this!
The way you mounted the camera, LightBurn crops half of your camera’s 16MP.
Yes, the current settings is Recommended with 2.5 frame. Should I increase? Recommended is okay?
If it works, I’m gonna move it lower
“Recommended” is recommended
Try increasing both the Preview Framerate and Default Camera Mode to around 5 fps.
I’m curious to hear if that fixes the rolling shutter artefacts.
1/1, 5/5, 10/10 no luck…
after switching from recommended to fallback, 10 Fps was available a in camera control menu, and now it works fine
