Neje master 2 s max

I AM NEW TO LASERS AND CANNOT GET LIGHTBURN TO WORK WITH MY NEJE MASTER 2 S MAX. iT USES THE NEJE SOFTWARE NO PROBLEM. DOES NOT SHOW LASER IN SETUP WHEN I PRESS FIND MY LASER

Two suggestions:

  1. Use the search tool at the top right of this page and search for “NEJE can not find laser”. You will find many suggestions. Also, go to NEJE.wiki and follow the instructions for setting up your laser AND setting up Lightburn.
  2. Find out where your CAPS Lock key is and click it once.

The most important part.

I have found the caps lock!. Followed the instructions from NEJE.wiki and setting up lightburn. the lightburn software says ready but when I press start to print a shape, it says there is a problem data. to the laser. It maybe busy or paused. I have a yellow light on the circuit board and a flashing red light on the laser. I have reinstalled the drivers and software a few times.

No I havent. mainly because I wouldnt know what to enter. totally new to this.

NEJE software works fine. Followed instructions to use light burn. lightburn says ready on com 3. when I try to print the laser makes one clunking sound the pop up says there was a problem sending data to the laser, it may be busy or paused.

Two different things you could to here.

  1. You can continue to say what you’ve been saying in your previous posts and getting us nowhere,
  2. You can tell us WHAT data you are trying to send to the laser. Including the .lbrn (.lbrn2) file in your post would help a lot here.

The fact that you say your computer is using COM3 is very suspicious. Under most circumstances the NEJE laser would show up at a COM port number higher than a ‘normal’ COM port on the computer. Learn how to take a look at the Device Manager Ports listing and see what it shown. I’ll bet that there is another COM port listed (if you truly followed the NEJE instructions).

  1. It sounds like you are connected, if the laser reacts when sent a file.

  2. If it’s clunking, do you have the direction of the axis backwards? ie: it thinks it’s in the opposite corner than you’ve programmed it, so it’s just trying to travel further into that corner, and faulting out?
