NEJE Master 2S plus setup?

Hoping someone can help me with this.

Bought a Master 2S plus a year or so ago and have never gotten it set up properly. Running LightBurn software.

The problem is the position counter at the home position.

Upper left is where it homes and with all machine settings set so the move arrows in the MOVE panel work correctly the home position is shown as 00X - 440Y it should be 00X - 00Y. Also as I move the Y axis away from the home position the position indicator goes up in values not down. So this results in me engraving in the middle of the field with numbers above 440 for the Y axis and getting error warnings. What setting do I need to change so the position indicator for the Y axis runs reverse to what it does now? In other words moves down in value as I move the Y axis away from the home position.

If I remember correctly the home position of that laser should be 0, 440. But values should decrease as you move down such that the lower-left is 0,0.

Can you take a screenshot of Device Settings?

Also, after homing, can you run these commands in Console one at a time and return the output:

berainlb … I think you are right about what the home values should be.
00X - 440Y.
There has to be some setting that tells the position indicator to count up or count down for each motor step. I will try to get the information you have asked for tonight and post it here.

My guess is that you have origin set to top-left in Device Settings when it should be bottom-left. If that’s the case then just try that first and test.

If that’s not the case then go ahead and get those artifacts for review.

You are correct … origin in setup is top left where it home’s to. I will change it to bottom left and try that.

berainlb … you were correct. Update: … Finally all is well and as it should be with LightBurn and my Master 2S plus engraver. The problem was I set the origin position in the upper left corner where it homes to and it should be the lower left corner. Now the machine setting file that was downloaded from the instruction page works everything in the correct direction and the position numbers follow its movement as they should. Thank you Berainlb for your help with this.
