Hi guys! I could really need som help here.
I have the Neje 4 max, that has a specified “A” 5 pin port for rotary use.
to save a little money i bought the atomstack R2 Rotary which has a 6 pin port.
So i bought the neje external stepper motor driver and cable, which can recieve the 5 pins from Neje 4 max, and convert into 4 wires going to a 6 pin connector which will connect to the rotary all good. but when connected in LB and set up, using the rotary guide, the rotary does nothing as in nothing. when using the test button … nothing i doesnt lock up the roller i can move them freely, but not in the program. where can i go from here ? thank you.
Sounds like you are getting no power to the stepper windings. Do any of the board LED’s (middle image) light up? Are you positive you have the wires into the stepper plug in the right order. Do not assume a ready-made cable is correct. You may need to switch the middle two wires.

i am not sure about anything i just plugged the thing in and setup 
there are no instructional videos for those specific machines, but i can try to flip the two middle wires thank ou i will try btw. there are no led´s and nothing seems to change on the mainboard og Neje 4 when its inserted
