Since i’m on linux, none of the solution works and I think a more universal solution would be to use OBS studio and it’s virtual webcam feature.

Media as an input, so you can use an RTSP feed and → Virtual webcam as the output.
I didn’t want to start a new thread only for this but I don’t think there is a way to reopen an old thread ( 1st day on this forum actually ).

Are you looking for assistance on how to do this or were you proposing a solution? There are a few other Topics on this actually.

Can’t find it at the moment but there’s one that goes over use of OBS to stream the camera output over a Pi.

As far as I know, this still isn’t officially supported, but I’ve cobbled together a workaround if you don’t mind messing around in the command line a bit. You need two pieces, mjpeg-streamer on the Pi and OBS on the Mac. This should work pretty much identically on Windows or Linux.
