I recently bought a 50w omtech fiber laser. I’ve operates Grbl machines for a while but this is my first fiber laser. I’ve updated my light burn software to except fiber lasers. I went the the proper process to install the machine and drivers however it persists to not work. I’ve tryed changing so much around and it still doesn’t work. I’ve attached the photos of the settings that are auto installed with the markfgc7 plug it says to us. One of the issues it fist started with was an error saying door check but I was able to fix it from changeing door protect to high. Let me know what to do thanks in advance
You need to become a little more forth coming about what has happened. Has it ever worked?
After you completed installation what did it do?
You do realize that focus is very critical for these to work. To focus move the head up/down listening for the loudest position.
So it’s brand new, so it’s never worked as far as I know. The focus I Believe I have dialed in using the dual red lasers to focus it
After instillation was completed I attempted to run a test run and this is when all these issues started.
