Hi - I recently bought a 5MP fisheye lens camera and went through the calibration and set up procedure. After one or two false starts the camera was activated and I found it invaluable for placement of material on the honeycombe. I was a bit mystified to note that it appeared to show “Still” shots only. The view on the LB workpane was square and clear whereas the view in the small pane below the settings in the Camera Pane showed distorted edges but would show movement of my hand when positioning things. The view on the LB work area could only be changed by clicking the renew view button. Is this the typical operating mode when a still view is all that shows? AS it happens over the last couple of days the camera operation has ceased altogether and I can open the Windows tab and click on Camera but no Camera screen opens or appears anywhere so I guess I will need to start the camera process all over again. Can anyone advise if the camera typically operates as I described as I was anticipating watching the laser head do itys thing but maybe I just got that bit wrong.
Many thanks

Try just rescanning and re adding the device in the devices tab….may be th easiest way to correct your problem
Hi Gatorman, many thanks for responding… I’ve had little response to this request. I have tried a couple of times to realign the camera and now it is functioning again. But its still the same topic that I am questioning. Is it normal that the picture displayed on the LB Workpane is a “still” image. Ideal for allowing me to positioning items but my question relating to the “Still” image or should it be a “movie” image remains unanswered???
Many thanks

I haven’t used my camera for over a couple of years now, however I thought that the image in the workspace was a still image. If memory serves you had to go into the camera control menu to ‘update overlay’ or words to that effect to update the still image
Thank you David for your reply. I can rest easy that I’m using the camera system as designed, many thanks. David
