I purchased a new laser and computer and downloaded light burn onto the new computer…which is an updated version compared to what I have been using. I check all my settings to make sure they match my other computers/lasers as the new laser is the same as another one I use. When I go to use it, it frames fine but when I try to engrave the laser head only moves up, down, then goes all the way to the left and buzzes with an error. The laser does not fire at all. I have trouble shot everything I can think of and cannot figure this out. I hooked up my old computer to the laser and it works fine with that computer and light burn so I don’t feel like it is a laser issue. Any ideas? I have included my setting in the files it would allow me to upload. I will try to attach the rest of my pictures which includes a picture of the error message I get. I also have a video of what it does but this doesn’t seem to allow me to upload videos.
Something looks seriously borked in your Scanning Offset Adjustments.
Try disabling the adjustments. Does that return normal function of the laser? If so, reenter the adjustments or re-create the device using the .lbdev file provided by xTool.
