New Device Wizard (work area)

New user question. In the new device wizard, you set the work area is this the working area of the lens i.e. 110mmx110mm or the total area of the bed i.e. 254mmx254mm (approximately)

Check this doc:

I believe it´s the area of the lens.
Also check if you have configuration files from the manufacturer.

That doc cleared things up for me, it is the working area of the lens The new device wizard its not clear as to what the setup is looking for.

I went ahead and did a test setup with 195mm x 195mm and it did populate the galvo and basic settings tab.
