Hello, I have a question. I just upgraded my diode from 2.5 to 5.5w. Do I have to change any settings to compassionate the difference in the diode? For example, the speed, power settings or what not? If i do how do I figure out the settings? The mathematical equations to figure out max speed and pwr before light burn cuts power in half due to to high of a spd.
Nothing required in LightBurn. You will want to run you material tests again to find your new “sweet spot” given you are working with a more powerful beam. There is no set “mathematical equations” we can point too directly. Once you do this additional testing, you might be able to extrapolate from your results.
