New Fiber on its way

I’m waiting on my 50w BWM Fiber.

Can I use my existing LB License for my 2nd laser? Currently using 1 license for my CO2. I have 1 PC running 1 license right now.

I’m probably going to install LB on a laptop and run the fiber from it.

I just watched the begging of this vid, and there talking about EZCad2 and such.

LightBurn Galvo Laser First Time Set Up

This was some text sent to me from BWM. The mfg of my fiber laser.

Ezcad2:
1.Please copy all files from one silver flash drive to your computer, then no need to plug it in anymore
2.Install Ezcad2 driver. There is installation video from your folder. Just follow that step, it will be fine. Please make sure machine is on(3 buttons are on) and all cables connected well before install Ezcad2

So do I have to install EZCad software prior to installing LB?

Kind of confused on how to get off on the right foot.

You just upgrade your CO2 licence to include the Galvo you can then create another device in LB for the Galvo. I currently run my 3018, OLM2 and Galvo (3 different lenses) all from one instance of LB on a laptop.

If you haven’t already please watch the following, I did whilst waiting for the Galvo to arrive and found it very useful.

I did install EZcad2 first but didn’t really need to.
