New Laptop not communicating/seeing OMTech via USB

Recently upgraded to a new laptop, updated my license, imported my settings, but my new laptop doesnt see the OMTech laser via USB? I hear Window Ding proper when I connect and disconnect USB…so its proper at that level. When I select Devices, I see my OMTech 2440-100 Ruida | DSP…?

For reference, I can fire up my old laptop, connect via USB and all is proper…so apparently I am missing something small here.

You probably have to check drivers or select the proper port in the laser window.

My suggestion is to use Ethernet, no driver problems, no real connection issues as it’s handled by Ethernet much like your network.
