New machine on it's way

hi so i have a new laser on the way, same set up "Ruida"as the one i have at the moment do i have to loan the software on my machine or will lightburn pick it up as a new laser, i know i will have to rename it in LB but i am not sure if i have to load the software as it is the same as the machine i have now.

Not understanding you. If you want to add another device to your LightBurn installation, go through the process you did when you first setup LightBurn. Click the ‘Devices’ button found in the ‘Laser’ window and add this new device. Is that what you are asking?

hI no, what i mean is,i have a second machine coming , the same as the one i have at the moment, do i have to reload the NEW machines software, or will LB just pick up the new machine

You will need to tell LightBurn you have a second ‘Device’ and provide the details just like you did the first time.
