It’s the same game no matter what ‘tube’ you use… They last a lot longer but cost substantially more and are very noisy in operation … most are more power than I can use…
If I was to invest that much, I’d add a fiber laser to the herd…
This is one thing thats great about C02 lasers with large bed sizes. The cost to run is so much cheaper. If an RF tube goes…might as well put the trotec in the bin. They are way more powerful though 30watt is never really 30watt. But they just arent worth the money. We as a family bought it second had 8 years ago…we were lucky at the time to get our hands on it for relatively cheap. Now its just a pipedream. You want to look into the next thing thay works great with laser though…UV flatbed printing…
