Firstly must tell you im brand new to Laser’s, not great with computers, and never been on a forum, but 65 years old so not new to life, i had hope to use this with my Wood work diy.
The issue : i have just purchased a Longer B1 30w, and built it up, I have downloaded Lightburn for the months trial to see how i go. First issue i have is the software did not find my Laser, so i input manually, GRBL, 450 x 400 it located that but then popped up with grbl *** or earlier? i accepted my first entry and it showed OK, it home of the X gantry very slowly, but not on the Y and that is as far as I was able to go after checking all the connections.
Any help gratefully accepted, Kevin
There was a Lightburn file in my friend’s Langer 20W machine, on the small USB stick it had to be imported into Lightburn during setup.
It could be you can also find that file and try if it helps you with setup.
