Newbie question on engraving dogtags

hello all, I hope i can get some help I have my first official newbie engraving job for a friend it’s not paid but it’s a start for me. but i have some issues at hand that i came here for some possible help.

my set up first off:

Lightburn 1.3.01 (paid)
HP laptop running windows 11

project working on : Metal Rectangle Dog Tags (not sure on the dimensions but if allowed i posted a image with no background so someone might get a general idea of the measurements what I am trying to engrave on the tag is my friends dog’s name and date of birth and death i can’t figure out how to get the text to fit nor can i figure out how to properly engrave the information on the tag is someone willing to help me out ??? I’d greatly appreciate it again sorry for the picture if not allowed i just thought a visual may help in the right direction

Is quite simple, you can make a rectangle in LB, using T1 or T2 in cut/palette selection, with the dimensions of the tag (also the hole), then you can write your text inside of it.
After doing that you can use start from “current position”, you place the tag and start engrave, about speed and power you have to do your tests.
