Newbie, What type of plan I have to choose?

Hello!
I’m a newbie and would like to know which of the two types of licenses I should purchase, the cheaper one or the more expensive one, for this type of Monport fiber laser: Neuer tragbarer GM 50W Integrierte Faser Lasergravier und Markiermaschine – Monport DE.._gaNDgyMzIzOTY4LjE3NTYwMzc0MzU._ga_D5L0TTY2Q0czE3NTYwMzc0MzQkbzEkZzEkdDE3NTYwMzc0NjgkajI2JGwwJGg0MTg4NDQwOTM

2.-I’d also like to know if I need to add anything additional to the laser for the software to work on my computer.

Thank you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hi @jocelynbastias

For a fiber laser like your Monport GM 50W, you’ll need the LightBurn Galvo (Pro) license. The cheaper G-Code license is only for diode or CO₂ machines with hobby-style controllers.

You don’t need any add-ons for LightBurn itself — just install the software, activate your license, and make sure you also install any driver files that come with your Monport (typically the EZCAD/galvo driver package).

I’d recommend starting with the 30-day free trial so you can confirm everything works as expected. When you’re ready, here’s the link to the correct license:
