No com port option

Hi John…

It sounds like it’s not seeing the USB connections.

Double check that you have the proper usb drivers in your machine… It would be nice to know what kind of computer you use… Linux, Mac, Windows or ?

Hi thanks for the reply, I have been using this for a few months now and has been all good, hadn’t used it now for about a week or so and now not seeing the laser, I’m running windows

Thanks for the reply , I’ve been using the laser for a few months now and has went well after an initial problem with connection, at that time it turned out to be in the set up where it gave options, I can’t really remember exactly what sorry, I haven’t used the laser for a week or so and it seems to be the same issue , I’m running windows 11 and it’s an atomstack with USB connection thanks

The setup should only have to be done one time. These shouldn’t change unless you change the laser itself.

I’d suggest, un plug the usb and plug it back it. In Windows you should hear a tone indicating a connection. You should be able to find it in the device manager of Windows in the USB section.

I’m not really up on Windows… sorry …

Good luck

Ok thanks I am getting the connection tone but that’s it , it’s not showing a port, I’m at a loss, thank you anyway

You should see it, that, I think would indicate the driver issue, but since this has been working that doesn’t seem to apply. A tone usually indicates it’s properly connected…

Do you have the auto option in the port selection?
