I just upgraded my xTool D1 Pro with the extension bed and the 40watt laser head. I can cut no problem, and can offset fill (which is horrible) but I cannot use Fill. When I click start it just starts creeping in the X axis until it hits the stop (real slow) Also: It frames properly.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Are you using the latest firmware available? The instructions to update or make changes onto the xTool controller has to be followed to the letter, otherwise it’s guaranteed that something won’t work as intended. I understand that they have a little toggle switch that needs to be used when making changes to the firmware…
Upon creating the device profile in LightBurn, did you import the .lbdev configuration file from their tutorial? This is an important step to confirm.
According to their platform (XCS) I have the latest firmware, I will check on that .lbdev file, I did not do that, although when I searched for device in Lightburn D1 Pro did pop up. I will follow up this evening. I am familiar with the toggle switch.
The enable scanning offset adjustment is recommended by your laser manufacturer, since it’s included in the .lbdev file…I’m not sure that you should be disabling settings that are recommended. Glad it’s working for you though!
