The engraver is attempting to home. Is it moving toward the switches like it should? If it is going the wrong way we have to change something.
Have you extended the bed (work area) of the engraver? If the engraver is longer than it thinks it should be we have to change something.
If the engraver work area was a 300mm square the homing command would say go 450mm toward the switches on the X-Axis and the Y-Axis.
After travelling extra distance to make sure it gets home. The engraver touches each switch, then pulls back from the switch. It tries to do this 5 times. If the switch is bad or if you set the pull-back too low the engraver can’t finish homing.
Hello, I was working, and from one moment to the next it stopped. I tried to start it and it has a hard time moving, it makes a noise as if it were stuck, I disconnected one axis and with the x it moves fine, I disconnect the x axis and connect the Y axis and it also moves fine. but if I connect both axes it does not want to move and the laser is not emitted.
only emits laser at rest
I am working with a light burn license. as if it lost power when moving
It sounds like the band is stuck, I already checked and they are fine. I tilt it 45 degrees and it just moves
There is a subtle difference between a gantry rolling on a tipped engraver and the drive motor turning the drive-wheel to move the gantry along a level engraver chassis.
Please confirm that the box-frame is square with a Carpenters Square or by comparing diagonal measurements from corner to corner.
After confirming that the engraver box-frame is square, slowly move the gantry all the way to the front to confirm that the gantry rides parallel to the front rail. To adjust this, loosen the belt on one side and retighten the belt so the gantry becomes parallel.
When this is adjusted correctly there is no binding when driving, The gantry is at it’s maximum width in the frame and the gantry can’t grow tighter.
If you moved the engraver quickly by hand, you can damage the motor driver.
If the sclupfun moved fine, then you moved it quickly by hand, and then it no longer moved fine, you may have damaged the motor driver chip in the controller.
Gently place the head of the engraver in the middle of the work area. Unplug the motors at the controller and swap the cable end for the X motor with the cable end for the Y motor. if the unwanted behavior changes places, the driver chip on the board is suspect. If the unwanted behavior stays place, it is the motor, motor cable or something mechanical.

okay
This appears to me, when you talk about the motor, are you referring to the laser and chip to the laser?
The Motor is the 4-wire Stepper Motor that moves the gantry and laser module.
The weak power supply can cause the motors to not run well enough to go home in the number of steps allowed. This can also cause the error you are seeing.
