I have a Mac and when I try and open a file in LightBurn, a LightBurn file, it only shows a file name - with no image of the file. I also have a Windows PC with Lightburn installed on it and when I open a file within LightBurn, and looking for a LightBurn file, it shows the image exactly what it’s supposed to look like w/name. What’s going on?
Tim answered your question the other day:
You asked the question again, but offered nothing to indicate what you tried after the first one. I read somewhere in this forum, maybe 6-12 months about this very issue. Asking the same question again will likely get the same result without further input from you.
Maybe try to use self-explaining names for the files? ![]()
I never need to see a preview - from the name of the file I usually know what’s inside…
The question I initially asked was when looking at a file using Finder in Mac OS. This question relates to searching and opening a file within LightBurn on a Mac. If there is a resolution to this, I’m on aware of it. I just don’t understand why I can’t see what a file looks like [image] when using a Mac - but I can see the image when using a Windows PC.
Simple answer is that Mac and PC do things differently.
We haven’t created a thumbnail viewer for MacOS yet. It’s on our to-do list.
Thank you. A very good percentage of LightBurn users use Macs. I’m hopeful this is high on the priority list. Thank you again.
