NEJE master 2, it moves but it doesn’t fire laser, it follows path but nothing happen, in neje app works properly, also when start moving make noises like stacking then start path withot laser just the normal blue point, speed 100 mm/s power 20 %, trial period software, trying simple square, circle and text, GRBL is what Neje said, what did I miss here?
I guess customer support is none
Have you used any other software with the machine before, like the software supplied with it, to verify that the machine itself is working?
I did, no problem, with Neje app and Inkcape.
What firmware is the Neje using? It needs to be GRBL. If it is, type $$ in the console and press enter, then post the output here so we can see your settings. 100mm/sec at 20% power is unlikely to burn anything at all - try 50mm/sec at 90% power, and that should burn something.
It moves smooth now, but still don’t fire laser, just move arounf object path (square 50mm/sec at 90% power )

Ahh - you’re using BenBox firmware, not GRBL. BenBox isn’t supported by LightBurn.
in Neje page they said this
- Master 2 adds wireless control function.(Support Android mobile phones, Android tablets, iphone, ipad, iouch mobile control devices)
2.the second processor of master 2 is updated to GRBL1.1F firmware. Control software update to benbox\ LaserGRBL and LightBurn in GRBL1.1f mode (default Benbox firmware)
The fine print is right there - by default, it is flashed with Benbox. You will need to use the Neje firmware uploader tool to change that to GRBL, and then LightBurn should work properly.
ah ok sounds fair, I will try to do that, just by chance, there is any link or video you can recommend by your experience to do that step? thank yopu for the help
I did I got this is this ok?

Homing

Homing cycle is not enabled in your Grbl settings.
Is the machine 200 x 200 mm? That’s the first thing that jumps out.
Homing not being enabled is strange - it’s possible their version of GRBL doesn’t support homing, which would be annoying but not impossible to work with. Power the board with the laser at the front left corner (the origin) and that will work well enough. Turn off the ‘Auto-home on Startup’ in Edit > Device Settings to get rid of the startup error.
sorry for late reply, than you for your help.
No, my machine is 170mm x 170 mm and I checked already is set to 170mm x 170 mm, if I press Home nothing happen just error 5, it said “Homing cycle is not enabled in your Grbl settings”
I did as you told me, error just appear when I press home button, related with noises seems they were related with home position, seems is solved, related to burning I should say it did it, but after trying another app and software I want to ask 3 things after checking the results I got.
- is there any reason why laser before start burning,( let say, from home to the object) moves slow ?comparing with for example the neje app, not talking about job itself.
- is there any reason why laser burn different for example the top of a square or half of a circle?, because looks like draft ink print, no image just pure stroke objects.
- Is there any difference between 100% laser power in lightburn? as well as speed? in Neje app is set to mS, what I try to say is: with same settings seems to burn less in lightburn.( power and speed seems react different, is there any setting missing?

Your GRBL firmware $110 and $111 settings control the maximum allowed speed, which is also the default jog speed. Yours are set to 500 mm/sec, which is quite slow. You can probably set those to 4500 mm/min, possibly as high as 6000 mm/min.
-
I do not understand what you’re asking with #2 here. Can you re-word that?
-
The maximum speed limit from #1 is probably the issue. With GRBL using variable power mode, if you ask the controller to go faster than it is allowed to, it can’t, so it will lower the power instead.
Thank you for your answer. I did it now move faster $110 and $111=4500 change setting also diode/ mm/min, layer speed change to 6000 even if a set to 4500, and every single layer still 6000 is that normal? I wonder if acceleration is correct, sounds like spinning, I tried also 6000 faster but same sound, so I left that in $110 and $111=4500.
my number 2 question was related to power, like in pictures results, i thought maybe moved but I put tape to avoid movement, still that was the result in pic. check also focus, so maybe power variation was wrong, after speed fix still did it.
I think I like this software, I will endup buying it, just I want it to be working as it should, and avoid headache later, thank you for your help again
also for some reason stopped in the middle of a job, but in software keeps time running, pause and resume but still nothing
now laser fan doesn’t stop, gets worse
The pictures you show look like the laser is not focused correctly. The settings you’ve posted don’t look wrong, but might still need tuning for the machine itself.
