I have tried everything I imported an HEIF file and when I go to engrave it I get ni layers in your projecr to output, What do I need to do. I have tried all the recommenced options.
If you have cut selected graphic and none are selected … or you have no layers set to output… either of these will cause the error message you describe.
Cut selected graphics is in the laser window and the layer itself can be set to no output. My first layer is set for output…
These are the most common… that generate this.
Is this the only file that is causing issues? If so maybe share the file to see if there is a problem with other users.
A real gotcha involves:
- A shape / pattern / group extending beyond the laser work area
- Having
Ignore out-of-bounds shapes if possibleturned on
As per that summary, the object is selected but ignored for purposes of path planning, so it’s not output even though it’s obviously selected.
