Node editing selection

I have imported a simple image to use in a project. When I click on the image/right click to select Path/ the command is grayed out (I assume it means it is already a path). At that point, with the image selected, select ctrl + " ’ " yet the image does not convert to nodes for editing. Where is my error?

Thank you,

Barry Cook

You need to have the object as a vector type to use many of these tools. There are no nodes in an image, so the node editor is not usable.

You can trace the image and turn it into a vector.

If you have problems, a better explanation of what you are doing along with the .lbrn2 file will help us in helping you.

Good luck

I verified that it was indeed a Trace. Second screenshot was a fresh Trace, full size.
I selected the image then ctrl + '. Still not opening the Node editing tool?

Thanks for your quick follow-up.
